School started. So I went to school at 7.10am in the morning to choose my seat, and found out that the class is air-conditioned! And we had 1 period less than sec3, because carpe diem is removed.
Throughout this week, really wonderful things have been happening and I can't ask for a better start to the year. Won't elaborate further here.
However, I can already feel the impending stress of sec4 life. Because firstly, we'd get homework everyday, and all holidays have been magically transformed into "revision days". Then, although I mentioned that we had 1 period less on our official timetable, I soon found out that my timetable would be expanded with all these:
Monday: English remedial until 5pm
Tuesday: Chinese remedial until 5pm
Wednesday: Science revision tests, then remedial for failures. I'm not a genius, so I'd be expecting remedials until 7pm from time to time. And I have SNYO at 7pm. Omg ._.
Thursday: Maths remedial until 5pm
Friday: Music/History remedial until 3pm, then cca. After cca, it'll be until 5...
And I expect more "surprises" to come as time goes by.
The big problem is, I have 3rd Lang, and whichever day I put it it's still going to clash with the remedials. So that means now I don't even have time for regular classes. -.-"
The more "folklores" I hear from my seniors, the more I feel frightened by what's ahead of me. But Mr Danny Tan told us this,"In the blink of an eye, prelim 1 will be over. Blink another time and prelim 2 will be over, and blink again prelim 3 then o levels will be over."
It's a figurative statement obviously. I've blinked a lot more than 3 times since he said it, but I'm still here in cat high getting tortured by homework and remedials, as much as I want o level to have ended.
Next Wednesday though, I AM going to get my o level results. But it's just for Chinese, which is <10% of total subjects. I'm however scared of taking the rest of the results next year. Who wouldn't?
But the future depends on what you do now. So for now I'll just TRY to enjoy studying...perhaps the best solution. And I'll blink from time to time just to give myself illusions.
To whoever's reading this, jyjy! =)

The Art of Posting...?
I'm finding something interesting to talk about. So far I've received suggestions like "American politics" and "how to wipe your ass after the process". I find it hard to talk about either of them. LOL
I want to post about interesting events that had happened, perhaps such as the many outings which I've gone out on, or the Xmas and new year parties I've had. But I really suck at personal recounts so posting about such things would be boring. In fact, I find my life so boring that everything that happens seems interesting.
That's probably why my posts are so general. Like those "1 word essays" you get in school. I basically put everything interesting together and summarise it in 1 post.
But there is something I enjoy about the type of posts I write, and I hope whoever reads it enjoys it too. It's that those posts are rather academic, especially the one about complaining. But I put it, or I try to put it, in an informal way so it become sort of like a semi-blog, semi-essay kind of posts, and I think they're rather unique. And I don't have to conform to the PEEL format or any format that we're taught. I just...write.
Perhaps I should try it in school since there'd be so many essays to write screwing up one like this won't hurt.
But for now, I'll just write stuff that I really need to pour out (犹如骨鲠在喉,不吐不快). And try screwing with writing since I won't do it in school.
LOL I'm not sure why I'm writing this. I'm bored :O
